I am happy to have had this product for a month ago.

I had originally purchased a Sony BDP-BX370 in November of 2023. By February of 2024 it was no longer functioning. I couldn't turn it on, and when I managed to do it, all functions were frozen and I couldn't even open it It was graciously replaced by Sony with a BDP-S3700. Now (in November 0f 2024) it too has suffered the same fate: frozen and locked.

Bought this few weeks ago, mainly to enable me to buy and play DVDs from USA. It was easy to connect and has done the job perfectly, including UK DVDs also, the machine automatically detecting which Region is required and plays immediately. I haven't tried any Blu-ray discs, which apparently do need a simple button press to activate, so can't comment on that. I'm extremely happy with purchase and so glad chose this machine.

I needed a replacement DVD drive I could run through an old surround sound amp. Used for music CDs so unsure of picture quality. Needed a DAC to convert the digital audio to analogue and a digital audio cable. Sounds better through optical audio via the amp than phono analogue. A basic but capable model which only lacks one function for me. A sleep timer. Have not used the internet connection as of yet so no comments there. Good info manual but still had to search on line for solution to audio connections. Quiet player except when the disc spins up.

Only had this for 2 weeks all good Sony quality as usual.

Easy to set up and use. This Sony Blu-ray Disc player seems intuitive to the users needs. Clever Sony.

This is the exact same model from 10 years ago. Probably could have found something better at goodwill. BOO!

Bought to replace an old Sony Blue Ray player. Easy to set up. Wifi fair speed, can be faster to surfing between feature. Extended warranty ridiculous expensive!

I recently had to buy another Blu-ray player because mine was outdated. So I looked around and all the options and I couldn’t pass this one up. Not only was the price a good deal but it’s a Sony and I couldn’t have been more impressed.. So with that being said I can enjoy my movie’s again. Great job Sony !!

bought this due to able to play european dvds. Unlike my other sony player, this player lacks the ability of an app for Amazon Prime. Very disappointed on that. would like a reason why? And can this be corrected.

In the time that I've had my blue ray player it has performed perfectly. And I have no regrets in purchasing it even suggested to my sister that she get one like it.

as the marketing page tells it is wifi how I can use it in my blueray system that is working perfectly, but the player not! I plugged in to electric surge protector, the HDMI into the tv, but nothing presented on my tv screen, I would like to use it blueray connected to my desktop and use my sound systems installed in the desktop! to play the blueray disc everything is confusing, in addition I have a HDMI SPLITTER but by using that everything went black in the user manual nothing is written about these steps?

Setup was straightforward and picture quality is good. I was slightly surprised at the lack of terrestrial streaming options and the odd defaults. But good value for money could also probably do with updating the firmware, no bugs since 2019!

Great product with easy to use features also amazing picture quality.

Happy I chose sony base on past experience and reliability
