I bought this about a month ago and it is very easy to use.

I have only had this for a week but so far it seems like a really good product. It has some nice features such as being able to use a USB plugged into the front for movies, photos, and music. I have used Sony for many years for televisions and other equipment and have always had good results with using their products.

I absolutely love this product. The uhd upscale is bang on. My movies have never looked better.

Terrific Blu-Ray player. Compact and full of stuff, I was particularly interested in the Bluetooth capability... Sky glass has Bluetooth capability but add a DVD player in to the mix and there are horrendous sound lag problems if you are using earbuds. Sorted now with this Blu-Ray player... Easy to set up and use, just pair your buds and off you go. Great picture, great sound. Will probably buy another for 3D TV upstairs as this also has 3D capability - Marvelous! Just bear in mind that your earbuds need to have volume control otherwise it is a one way ticket to hearing impairment!

The player has a lot of options but I do wish it would have a fine sharp control for picture. I would also like some sort of LED screen on the front, otherwise it looks cheap. All BluRay players should be made with 4K built in, to buy a lower one is to screw yourself down the road. Since all BluRay players play DVD's, there is no reason to have just stand alone DVD players, it seems so unproductive and expensive to make both. I'll have to upgrade again because I thought this one was 4K but it isn't. I need to get the UBP-X700M or the 800. There was no need to have all those other models. Just make one model that has all the bells and whistle and that makes the best picture.

I received this blue ray dvd player yesterday & set it up today. It was a vey easy setup & seems to be very user friendly. At this point I am quit happy with this product & glad that I chose this Sony.

I love my Sony Blu-ray Disc Player Model BDP-S6700 SO MUCH that I bought a 2nd one, identical to the first one, as a backup player if the first one becomes inoperable.

You can't move icons where you want. You can't fill the home screen with icons. The selection of apps is terrible, few and many have been expired for years and do not work.

Apps would freeze up while watching. Ended up having to return. There were special features that could be “unlocked” also but when I called Sony to see what they were they said “we are discontinuing those on all our products”. Very disappointed.

I’m not a tech nerd at all but this was so easy for me to set up. The clarity coming from the blu ray and player is really top notch. Sounds quality is also really great. I haven’t had an issue with it and I’ve had it for a long while. It’s held up really well to my kids constantly changing out the blu rays. Sony overall is a really good top brand for me that I trust. Their products are always really reliable!

Everything I need for a fair price, simple to set up simple to operate, up and running in minutes many features that make it a value packed product we are happy with our purchase

4K is exceptional quality! WiFi is going great WoW

I only use this as a player as most of the apps are on my TV, so I can only review it as such. Very good ,very smart , no set up, just plug in and play. Does however have some very feint start up noise.

i wanted to buy a Blu-Ray player with 4K upconvert and a good friend of mine told me to get this SONY and i am glad i did it plays everything Great.

I had purchased this new and come 2023 after working without issue and now error on screen of DISC NOT FOUND...have tried both BLU RAY and DVD and nothing works...no solution found online...will seek a replacement.

Bought this about 4 weeks ago, easy setup, great apps included, ive only played Blu Ray discs I have not tried ordinary DVD's yet but so far brilliant. Colour and sound are great and at the price a real bargain.

Our machine will not turn on or eject a disc unless we unplug it for ten seconds and then plug it back in - happens every time. We use it pretty much every day and otherwise it's fine, but we've only had it for six weeks so we're already looking for a replacement.

Product is extremely good.It would however be better if the on/off control light was bigger to prevent unit being accidentally being left on.

I bought this because the previous Sony did not have bluetooth

Product went downhill with removal of certain streaming services

The TV that my new DVD player is attached to was purchased prior to "smart" TVs. The new Sony DVD player causes the whole rig to be "smart" and does it very well. It has several other talents that it performs that make me that much happier that I purchased this particular model. I highly recommend it!

Since I bought this Blu-Ray player I've had no issues with the unit. I love the fact that you can get Netflix and Prime video streaming. This unit makes my Firestix obsolete. I highly recommend this player.

I bought this product a few weeks ago and am completely happy with it. I find it high quality and easy to use. A good product at a fair price.

So happy I decided to go with this dvd player. Was a replacement for one I had for years. This one is much nicer.

This unoit replaced an older larger unit that had a display screen, which I miss. Picture quality is good, loads a little slower. Has a lot of features I don't use!

Very happy with this little player, easy to setup and use. I like the small footprint and light weight design. It would have gotten 5 stars…but…for $100.00 unit…no HDMI cable, that was disappointing ! Too soon to tell about longevity, but, for now I’m happy with my purchase. Don’t forget to purchase a HDMI cable if you buy this….if you do, when you get home, you won’t be using it.

I bought this Blu-ray player brand new about a year and half ago. It worked great with some minor internet connection problem at times before it stop working completely.

Has all the features that I may want or would ever need. At an affordable price.

I bought this DVD PLAYER this last week, I'm enjoying the quality of the Player. The picture is crystal clear

I bought this at Walmart and drove home 6 miles only to discover it does not come with the hdmi cord to hook up, So 6 miles each way, to purchase a cord I would have bought the first time if only it had stated on the box hdmi cord not included!!!

I’m so glad I got this I couldn’t ask or find a better way to to watch tv and blue rays

I bought this a week ago and hope it lasts more than 5 months. I bought a similar one from Best Buy, and sadly, did not pay $10 for the extended warranty. It completely froze up, and without a proper receipt, I could not return it for a new player. it's a shame because there aren't really many out there that make DVD, or streaming players that are compatible. Caveat Emptor?

I bought this Blue-Ray player and tried it out right away. I didn't so much play a movie, I just inserted a disc, saw it came up with the movie, started to play it, and was satisfied it was working. I only played the movie for more than a few seconds. A few weeks later, I decided to actually play a movie. In the process, I discovered the audio output via my HDMI connection was very low. I normally have my TV set to 30 out of a possible 63. Even at the 63 setting, the audio output was about equal to a setting of 15 on my TV. When I connected the unit to my Bluetooth speaker, I got full volume. So I returned the unit and got another one. I experienced the same problem with the 2nd unit. This is a manufacturer defect on this model that needs to be corrected. Aside from the audio problem, the picture is great, the features that I have tried out work great, and the unit is very easy to use. The remote is not cluttered so it is easy to navigate. Overall, this is a good product, but the HDMI audio output needs to be fixed.

I had to return my unit as it stopped functioning. It was less than a year old. The replacement was easy to send back and receive new unit.

I have the previous model and this upgrade did not dissapoint! It's so small and compact! We actually use it in our camp trailer. It was extremely easy to connect and use. I love that I can connect my blue tooth headphones to it too and not disturb sleeping babies! I have found it super convenient to smarcast from my phone. Easier than most programs.

This Blu-Ray is very user friendly and great in size. The built-in apps are a plus which I was able to give her access to Netflix for example.

This is the fourth similar Sony player that I have purchased and all of them have been great. In my opinion, Sony has the best upscaling software on the market, which is one of the major reasons that I have stuck with the Sony brand. The quality of the product is also another reason that I purchase the Sony products.
