1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. In the Control Panel window, click Hardware and Sound.
4. In the Hardware and Sound window, click Sound.
5. In the Sound Panel Playback tab, click Properties.
6. In the Speaker Properties, click the Enhancements tab.
7. In the Enhancements tab, make sure Equalizer has a check mark next to it.
8. Click OK.
