How to reset the Internet Explorer browser to the default settings.

WARNING: Resetting the Internet Explorer® browser settings will delete all temporary files, disable browser add-ons, and reset all of the changed settings.

1. In the new Windows User Interface (UI) Start screen, click the Desktop tile.
2. On the Desktop, click the Internet Explorer tile.
3. In the Internet Explorer window, click the Tools icon, and then click to select Internet Options.
4. In the Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab.
5. On the Advanced tab, under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click the Reset button.
6. Click the OK button.
