The TV screen does not displays a picture when connecting a computer with an HDMI cable.

NOTE: Some TV models will display the message INVALID FORMAT when this error occurs.

This error message occurs if the computer is outputting a resolution signal that the TV does not support. Change the output resolution in the Display Settings of your computer to resolve this issue. Selecting 1024 x 768 normally works, but sometimes selecting a higher resolution may be necessary.

IMPORTANT: You may need to restart the computer after changing the output resolution so that the HDMI® input on the TV can recognize the signal.
