Select the device type below for steps on how to delete Bluetooth® device information.
Note: Steps may change depending on your device or operating system. Check your device manual for specific information.
Android™ mobile devices
- Open the Settings screen.
- Select Connected devices or Device Connection.
- Select Previously connected devices or Bluetooth.
Note: If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
- Select (Settings) next to the name of the device that you want to unpair.
- Select FORGET.
Note: If the next menu is displayed, select Forget device.
iOS™ (iPhone® cell phone or iPad® tablet) mobile devices
- On the Home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- If the Bluetooth function is set to Off, turn it On.
- The mobile device displays a list of saved Bluetooth devices.
- Tap (Info) next to the device you want to delete.
- Tap Forget this Device.
Computers with Microsoft® Windows® 11 operating system
- On the Start menu, click (Settings).
- Select Bluetooth & Devices.
- If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
- On the Audio menu, select (menu) on the right side of the device name you want to unpair.
- Select Remove device → Yes.
Computers with Microsoft® Windows® 10 operating system
- On the Start menu, click Settings.
- Click Devices.
- Click Bluetooth & other devices.
- If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
- Click the device you want to unpair.
- Click Remove device.
Computers with Microsoft Windows® 8.1 operating system
- From the Start Menu, click (Settings).
- Click Change PC settings.
- On the PC settings menu, click PC and devices.
- On the PC and devices menu, click Bluetooth.
- If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
- Click the device you want to unpair.
- Click Remove device.
Computers with Microsoft Windows® 7 operating system
- Click Control Panel.
- Click Hardware and Sound.
- Click Devices and Printers.
- Your computer displays a list of saved Bluetooth devices.
- Right-click on the device you want to delete.
- Click Remove Device.
Macintosh® Computers
- Select menu.
- Select System Preferences, and then click Bluetooth.
- If the Bluetooth function is set to OFF, set it to ON.
- Hover the pointer over the device you want to unpair, and then click (Remove) beside the name of the device.
