How to use the TalkBack feature
IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.
The TalkBack feature works by vocalizing information on the TV screen, such as the program guide and setting screen. It also explains the item you selected and what you can do with it. An Internet connection is necessary to use the TalkBack feature.
Notes:
- For models released in 2024 and A95L series: This function is available on the initial setup screen.
- The TalkBack feature is continuously improved. For now, some TV features might work better with the Screen Reader.
- When the TalkBack feature is ON, the Edit option in Quick Settings can't be used.
- When the TalkBack feature is set to ON, some edit options, including Move and Hide in Inputs, can't be used.
- For eARC-supported models only: When the TalkBack feature is activated, the eARC mode will be set to Off.
- For models featuring Android™ 10: The Accessibility shortcut function can switch the TalkBack feature from active to inactive.
Activate the TalkBack feature from the Quick Settings menu
Stop the Talkback feature from the Quick Settings menu
Set the volume of the TalkBack feature in relation to the main volume
