How to wear your LinkBuds Open properly

    If you wear the LinkBuds Open (WF-L910) incorrectly, tap operations, Speak-to-Chat speech detection, sound quality or call performance may be affected. Here's how to wear your LinkBuds Open:

    Check the shape of the headphones

    The following three components support the LinkBuds Open in your ear:

    1. Fitting supporter
    2. Driver unit
    3. Housing

    How to wear the headphones

    Follow the steps below to learn how to wear your headphones:

    1. Remove the headphones from the charging case, then use your thumb and index finger to hold the housing part of the headphones unit (C).
      Note: Be careful not to drop the headphones when you remove them from the charging case.

    2. Insert the driver unit part of the headphones unit (B), so that it covers the lower part of your ear opening (E).

    3. Push the protruding part of the housing part (C) into your ear groove (F).

    4. Fit the fitting supporter (A) into the top of your ear groove (G).
      Hint: By twisting the headphones unit when putting the headphones on, the housing part can fit into your ear more easily.

      Hint: If the fitting supporter comes off, follow the steps in this video to reattach the fitting supporter.

    5. Shake your head lightly and check that the headphones unit does not come off or move in your ear.
      Hint: If the headphones feel unstable, rotate them back and forth to find the best fit.

    Hint: If the headphones slip off or cause discomfort despite following these instructions, refer to the following section of the Help Guide: "The headset falls out of your ears/An earache occurs."

    If the fitting supporter doesn't fit well

    If the fitting supporter doesn't fit properly or reach the top of your ear groove, even after following the Help Guide instructions, try a different type with a longer tip (circled in the illustration below).
    Hint: Illustration [2] shows the earbuds fitting correctly in the ear.
