IMPORTANT: This update is available only by performing a Network Upgrade.
This utility upgrades the Multi Audio Player System to version NW2.11 and provides the following benefits:
Improvements over version NW2.09:
- IMPORTANT: This firmware update must be performed in order to keep using the Spotify® music distribution service.
Benefits provided by previous updates and included in versions NW2.11:
- Corrects an condition where DSDIFF content cannot be played.
- Corrects an condition where the unit cannot play a file using DLNA.
- Improves performance of selecting a music track or tuning in a radio station using the previous/next/TUNING+/- buttons.
- Supports playback for 16 bit contents when connected via USB to the Xperia Z2.
- Modify the issue which stops playback of special contents from the Music Unlimited service.
- Resolves an issue where the system may become unstable when selecting a music track or tuning in a radio station.

IMPORTANT: The firmware can only be upgraded by performing a Network Update.
- Follow the update instructions carefully.
- If you have not done so already, please check the current Software Version to determine if this firmware upgrade is needed for your Multi Audio Player System.
- To perform the update, it is necessary to have the Multi Audio Player System correctly connected to an active Internet connection.
- If a firmware update is available, the UPDATE icon lights up on the display of Multi Audio Player System.
- WARNING!
- Do not operate, power off, or disconnect the Multi Audio Player System from the AC power outlet until after the update is complete.
- Failure to follow the instructions may interrupt the upgrade process and may cause the player to be unresponsive or to require repair.
- Contact our Support team if you need assistance with the upgrade.
Check the Firmware Version of the Multi Audio Player System
- Turn on the Multi Audio Player System.
- On the Multi Audio Player System, press and hold the BACK button and the PUSH ENTER button until the version number appears on the front display.
- If the version number is NW 2.11 or higher, you do not need this update.
- If the version number is lower than NW 2.11, you should install this update.
- Turn the Tuning dial clockwise twice to exit the check version display mode.

Network Update Installation Instructions
Note: The firmware upgrade process usually takes about 10 minutes, depending on system configuration and network connection.
- Turn on the Multi Audio Player System and wait for the UPDATE icon to display on the unit.
- On the remote control, press MENU, then press the up/down arrows to select Network Menu, and then press ENTER.
- When Update is displayed, press ENTER on the remote control.
- When OK is displayed (blinking), press ENTER on the remote control.
- Please wait about 10 minutes until the download and update are completed.

Note: The system will disply the status during the download and update process.
- The message COMPLETE is displayed when the upgrade is finished. Press the power button to turn off the Multi Audio Player System.
- Turn on the Multi Audio Player System.
- Check the current Software Version to confirm that the upgrade has successfully installed.

- If the version number is NW 2.11 the update was successful.
- If the version number is'nt NW 2.11, repeat the process to install the update again.
