The microphone will not attach to the camera properly.

If the microphone will not attach properly, remove the microphone and reconnect it into the multi-interface shoe of the camera and make sure that the lock knob (shown below) is tightened. The camera might record shaking noise or may not record audio if the microphone is not locked in place.

NOTE: For the XLR-K1M, since the connector plug does not have a lock knob, make sure that the cord is secure and the connector plug is inserted into the hotshoe correctly.
