No sound is output from the TV.
Check the following:
- When the HDMI jack on the TV is labeled ARC:
- The ARC-compatible HDMI input jack on the TV is connected to the HDMI output jack on the audio device.
- The Control for HDMI function is active both on the TV and the audio device.
- The input source [TV] is selected on the audio device.
- The speaker settings of the TV are configured to output sound from the audio device. For details about the speaker settings of the TV, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the TV.
- Turn on the TV first, then the audio device.
- Turn up the TV volume or cancel muting.
- When the HDMI jack on the TV is not labeled ARC:
- The output jack on the TV is connected to the input jack on the audio device with an optical digital cable. Select the input source that is connected with the optical digital cable, such as [TV], on the audio device.
- The output jack on the TV is connected to the input jack on the audio device with an analog audio cable. Select the input source that is connected with the analog audio cable, such as [Analog], on the audio device.
- Disconnect the cables connecting the audio device and the TV, and then reconnect them once again.
- Unplug the audio device from the AC power outlet, wait for a while, and then plug it back to the outlet once again.
