Which HDMI Inputs on My TV Support 4K Viewing from a Blu-ray Disc Player?
The HDMI IN 2 and HDMI IN 3 on your TV support 4K viewing from a Blu-ray Disc™ player. Most Blu-ray Disc players send a high definition signal to your TV so we recommend that you connect the Blu-ray Disc player to your TV and allow your TV to up-convert the HD signal to 4K. If the Blu-ray Disc player has a built-in up-converter feature, we recommend that you disable this feature and allow your TV to up-convert the signal to 4K.
Note: Check your manual for model-specific instructions on how to disable the up-convert feature on your Blu-ray Disc player.
Manuals are posted on your model support page.
