How to reset to the factory defaults.
IMPORTANT: Resetting the nav-u™ portable navigation device to the factory defaults is different than resetting the unit using the reset button . Resetting to the factory defaults clears all of the settings and user data, then restores them back to defaults. User data such as address book entries will be lost.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap the red tool box tab.
- On the Settings tab, tap General.
- Tap the down arrow until Reset Factory Default appears in the display.
- In the Unit will be restored to Factory Default screen, tap OK.
