Can a Computer Control the Camera Through USB?

The Imaging Edge software can be used to control the camera through a USB connection. This is known as tethered shooting.
For applicable models and download information, refer to the Imaging Edge support page.
Note:
- There is no software update that can add tethered shooting to a camera model that doesn't initially support it.
- Imaging Edge doesn't support 32-bit operating systems. If you are using a computer with a 32-bit operating system, use the Remote Camera Control application for Windows® or macOS™ operating systems.
