Set Up Your Cyber-Shot Camera for the First Time

1. Turn on your Cyber-shot® camera.
2. Set the Language.

   1. On the Language Setting screen, select ENGLISH.

   2. 

   3. Using the camera's Control Button, press the down button to highlight OK.
      
   4. Press the center button to confirm the selection.

      

3. Set the Area, Date & Time.

   1. On the Area Setting screen, press the left or right buttons to select your time zone.
   2. Press the center button to confirm your time zone area.

      

   3. On the Date & Time Setting - Home screen, press the down button to select Date & Time.
   4. Press the center button to change the date and time.

      

   5. Press the left and right buttons to select the Month, Day, Year, Hour, and Minute settings. Press the up and down buttons to change the value.

      

      • To change AM to PM, select the Hour setting and press the up button so that the Hour value passes 12 AM.
   6. After changing the Minutes setting, press right to select OK.
   7. Press the center button.

      

   8. If your Area and Date & Time Settings are correct on the Clock Settings screen, highlight OK and press the center button.

      

4. Select the Display Color and Resolution.

   1. On the Display color screen, press the left and right buttons to select your preferred menu color.
   2. Press down to highlight OK.
   3. Press the center button to confirm.

      

   4. On the Disp. Resolution screen, press the up or down button to select your preferred playback resolution.
   5. Press the down button to highlight OK.
   6. Press the center button to confirm.

      

   7. On the PlayMemories Home™ screen, press the center button.
