IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.
Music can be transferred via drag-and-drop directly from Finder in the Mac OS® computer or from the Music library screen of iTunes® software to the MUSIC folder of the Walkman® player.
NOTES:
- If music is being imported from the Music library screen of the iTunes software, individual music transfers as separate files rather than being transferred into one single folder with the album name.
- Music with copyright protection, such as music purchased from the iTunes Music Store®, cannot be transferred.
- The control buttons on your Walkman player become inoperable while connected to a computer.
- Connect the Walkman player to the Mac using the supplied USB cable. Once the connection is completed, the WALKMAN icon or microSD card name will be displayed on the Macintosh computer.
NOTE: With a Walkman player that supports microSD card, transfer destination can be specified for the content. For more details, refer to the manual supplied with the product. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
