How to register the Smart Tennis Sensor to a mobile device.

To register the Smart Tennis Sensor to a mobile device, follow the steps below.

IMPORTANT:

• Install the Smart Tennis Sensor app before proceeding with the steps.
• A PlayStation™ Network account is needed to use the Smart Tennis Sensor app.

• A - Red light
• B - Blue light
• C - (Power) button
• D - (Bluetooth®) button

For Android™ mobile devices

1. Prepare the Smart Tennis Sensor.
   1. Press the power button for 2 seconds or until the red light indicator slowly blinks.
   2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for more than 7 seconds or until the blue light indicator slowly blinks.
2. Prepare the mobile device.

   NOTE: The steps to activate the Bluetooth function may vary depending on the mobile device. Refer to the instruction manual of the mobile device. Below is an example on how to activate the Bluetooth function of an Xperia™ Z smartphone running an Android™ Kitkat 4.4.4 operating system.

   1. From the home screen, tap Settings.
   2. Tap Bluetooth.
   3. Tap On.
3. Pair the Smart Tennis Sensor and the mobile device.
   1. On the Bluetooth screen, tap Search for Devices.
   2. Under Available Devices, search for SSE-TN1 xxxx.
   3. Tap SSE-TN1 xxxx.

      NOTES:

      • Once pairing is successful, the blue light indicator on the Smart Tennis Sensor will flash four times.
      • The message Sensor is Connected displayed beside an illustration of a racket indicates that the pairing is successful.
   4. Tap the home button to return to the home screen.
4. Start the Smart Tennis Sensor app.

For Apple® iOS® mobile devices

1. Prepare the Smart Tennis Sensor.
   1. Press the power button for 2 seconds or until the red light indicator slowly blinks.
   2. Press and hold the Bluetooth® button for more than 7 seconds or until the blue light indicator slowly blinks.
2. Prepare the mobile device.
   1. From the home screen, tap Settings.
   2. Tap General.
   3. Tap Bluetooth
   4. Flip the on / off button.
3. Pair the Smart Tennis Sensor and the mobile device.
   1. On the Bluetooth screen, under DEVICES, search for SSE-TN1 xxxx.
   2. Tap SSE-TN1 xxxx.

      NOTE: Once pairing is successful, the blue light indicator on the Smart Tennis Sensor will flash four times.

   3. Press the home button to return to the home screen.
4. Start the Smart Tennis Sensor app.
