The message Update Database appears and it takes a long time to import images when trying to open the PlayMemories Home software.

    Importing images requires updating the PlayMemories Home™ database, which may take a long time depending on the amount of data. If the message Update Database appears when you try to open the PlayMemories Home software and the software will not start, follow the steps below.

    1. Install the latest PlayMemories Home software version.
    2. Open the PlayMemories Home Setting Initialization Tool.
    3. In the PlayMemories Home Setting Initialization Tool, check the Restore the program to its default settings.
    4. Click the Start button.
