Can an optional subwoofer or rear speakers be connected to the HT-S2000 Soundbar?

A Soundbar can provide a wonderful sound experience, yet with an optional subwoofer or rear speaker set, you can get even more. A subwoofer adds more dynamic bass sound, whereas rear speakers boost the surround sound from behind you to make the sound more realistic.

The HT-S2000 is compatible with the following models:

• SA-RS3S
• SA-SW3
• SA-SW5

How to connect and setup

Start with the Soundbar

Has your Soundbar already done the initial setup? If not, install the Sony | BRAVIA Connect / Sony | Home Entertainment Connect app and follow the on-screen guidance to complete the setup. During the setup, the app also offers a guide to connect with an optional subwoofer or rear speakers, confirming the distance to find the best conditions.

Adding optional subwoofer or rear speakers

Adding an optional subwoofer or rear speakers is still possible even if you have already started using the Soundbar. Open the Sony | BRAVIA Connect / Sony | Home Entertainment Connect app, and select Easy Initial Setup → Speaker Connection. You can start the connection and setup at your convenience.

Changing the speaker settings

If you want to connect with a subwoofer or rear speakers manually or change the wireless playback quality, check the Sony | BRAVIA Connect / Sony | Home Entertainment Connect app. Open Settings → Wireless Speaker Connection Settings, then the Setting menu appears.
