Adjusting the sound quality on a Google TV

You can configure various TV audio settings, such as sound quality and sound mode.
Follow the steps below to access those settings:
- On the remote control, press the Quick Settings ( or ) button.
- Select Settings → Display & Sound → the desired option (e.g., Picture & Sound or Sound).
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options

Note: The actual display may vary, and some settings may not be available depending on your model, country/region, TV settings, and the connected device.

Sound
You can adjust the audio from:
- TV speakers
- an audio system connected via HDMI or optical audio output
- wired headphones or Bluetooth-connected devices.
You can change the following settings:

Surround |
Virtually reproduces realistic surround sound.
When set to Auto, this setting automatically switches surround processing according to the values below:

Surround effect | Adjust the audio for a comfortable surround sound level.

Voice Zoom | Emphasizes voice or ambient audio and is displayed when Post-processing is set to Standard.
|
Dialogue enhancer | Enhances voices. You can select Dialogue enhancer if Post-processing is set to Dolby Audio processing.
|
Equaliser | Adjusts the sound based on different frequencies: 125Hz/250Hz/500Hz/1kHz/2kHz/4kHz/8kHz.

Balance | Adjusts the balance of the left and right audio according to your viewing position.

Beam tweeter volume | Adjusts the volume of sound reflected from the ceiling. The signal level can also be adjusted from the Beam tweeter setting.

Advanced auto volume | It keeps the volume level consistent for all input sources. Turn it on when you feel a volume level difference between input sources.

Dolby AC-4 Dialog level | Adjust the audio emphasis level using the Dolby AC-4 decoder.

Dynamic range | Compensates for audio level difference between input sources (for Dolby Digital audio and HE AAC audio). Displayed only when Inputs is set to HDMI or during Media Player playback.

Acoustic auto-calibration | Optimizes the audio output of your TV speakers by measuring the listening environment using the microphone on the TV remote control. Put (or hold the remote) on your listening position. Note: We recommend measuring again if you change your listening or TV position.

TV Position | Optimizes the TV speaker sound based on the position of your TV. After the TV's position changes, retry the calibration setup when Acoustic auto calibration is enabled.
