How to get the update
Method 1: Update your TV over the internet (recommended)
If your TV is set to check for updates automatically, a notification to install the update will appear when you turn on the TV.
Otherwise, you can use the TV menu and remote control to check for and install the update. Your TV must be connected to the internet to use this method.
- Turn on the TV.
- Press (Input) on the remote control to access the TV Inputs menu.
- Select the [Help] tile.
Note: If [Help] is not visible, select [ Edit], select the [Help] tile, and then Close to add it to the Inputs menu.
- Select [Status & Diagnostics] → [System Software Update] → [Software update].
- The TV will check for the new software update, and then begin the installation.
If you see the message "Your software is up to date," it means that the update has already installed, and no further action is needed.
Method 2: Update your TV using a USB flash drive
You need a USB flash drive to use this method.
