I can't operate my old TV with the remote from a new Google TV or Android TV

The remote controls supplied with Google TV™ or Android TV™ models released in 2019 or later use Bluetooth® technology to communicate with the TV. Because the new remote controls communicate differently, they can't communicate with TVs released before 2019.
We recommend using the remote control supplied with your TV. If you need help determining which remote to use, check the manual.
