Will the headphones charge when the message "A USB device has exceeded the power limits" is displayed on the connected computer?
The message A USB device has exceeded the power limits... is displayed when the current supplied by the connected computer is less than what is required to charge the headphones. This is a specification of the Microsoft® Windows® 10 operating system.
When this message is displayed, the headphones cannot charge at the maximum rate capable with the USB PD (Power Delivery) feature. The charging can still be done successfully, just not as rapidly as the estimated USB PD (Power Delivery) charging time.
