Bluetooth Pairing and Connection
- Bluetooth® headphones and speakers connect to one source device at a time.
- If the headphones or speakers are already connected to a source device, you can't connect them to another device unless you cancel the current Bluetooth connection. Check the manual of your source device for instructions on connecting and disconnecting Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
Bluetooth Pairing
Pairing is a requirement before the devices can be used with each other. You can think of pairing as an exchange of information between the devices, similar to how people must exchange phone numbers before they can call each other. After completion, the Bluetooth information is saved and there is no need to repeat the pairing process again.
Deleting the pairing information (for example, resetting the device) is like forgetting someone's phone number. Without the phone number, you won't be able to call him or her.
If you reset your device or delete the Bluetooth information, repeat the pairing procedure. To connect another source device, create a new pairing between your new device and the headphones or speaker.
There's a limit to the number of Bluetooth devices the headphones and speakers can pair with. The earliest paired device information will be deleted once you reach the maximum limit of paired devices.
Bluetooth Connection
A Bluetooth connection is a transmission between two Bluetooth devices. Pairing is a requirement before the devices can connect. After pairing, both devices store the information and you don't need to repeat the procedure.
