Noise is heard from the headphones (WF-C500)
Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Solution
- Select your problem:
- I hear noise while playing music
Go to step 5.- I hear noise while talking on the phone
Go to step 2.
- Select the device that you are using:
- Computer
- Go to step 3.
- Something other than a computer (such as a smartphone etc.)
- Go to step 4.
- Check the following:
- If you hear noise while you talk, speak louder or use the headphones in a quieter place.
- If you hear noise while you talk when using the computer's built-in microphone, check the computer's sound settings to make sure that the headphones are selected as the output device.
- If you hear noise while the other person talks, the network communication may be unstable. Use the headphones near the computer to reduce interference.
- The issue is resolved
- The ambient sound or the computer's settings may have been the cause.
- The issue is not resolved
- Go to step 5.
- Speak louder or use the headphones in a quieter place.
- The issue is resolved
- The ambient sound may have been the cause.
- The issue is not resolved
- Go to step 5.
- Set the headphones in the charging case, close the lid, wait for a few seconds, and then wear the headphones again.
- The issue is resolved
- The issue may have been caused by a temporary malfunction of the headphones.
- The issue is not resolved
- Go to the next troubleshooting step.
- Perform the following with the headphones and connected device.
- Restart the connected device.
Turn off the device once, and turn it on again. - Delete the Bluetooth® device information of your playback device.
- Refer to the appropriate article to pair the devices again:
- For Android™ phones: Pairing and connecting with an Android smartphone
- For iPhone® phones: Pairing and connecting with an iPhone
- For other devices: How to pair Bluetooth headphones with a Bluetooth source device
- Restart the connected device.
- Reset the headphones.

- Initialize the headphones and pair them with the playback device again.

- The headphones may be malfunctioning and require repair.  Go to Product Repair. 
- Initialize the headphones.
