With advanced light-gathering and output optimization, the 12.1-megapixel0 full-frame sensor achieves low noise throughout the sensitivity range, and can capture usable images in near total darkness.
S-CinetoneTM from high-end cinema camera colour science
The inclusion of Sony’s acclaimed S-Cinetone0 look, inherited from the development of the Cinema Line FX9 and CineAlta cameras such as VENICE, allows cinematic colour to be achieved directly in-camera. S-Cinetone is optimized for natural skin tones and mid-range colours, with gentle highlight roll-off, for impressive subject depiction without grading at post production as a workflow.
HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma)
HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) simplifies HDR production, producing footage for HLG-compatible BRAVIA TVs on the camera with no complex post-production, and smooth gradations from the 10-bit colour depth.
