Can't adjust the headphone volume (WF-SP900)
Follow these steps to troubleshoot this issue:

Tap the sensors on the headphones to increase or decrease the volume.
- To increase the volume: Tap the sensor on the right unit twice quickly.
- To decrease the volume: Tap the sensor on the left unit twice quickly.
- You can increase or decrease volume continuously if you continue to tap the sensor more than twice quickly.
Note: The tap sensors can be locked to prevent unintentional volume operations. To lock or reactivate the volume operations with the tap sensors, hold down the button on the right unit for about two seconds. If you hear the voice guidance Tap function OFF, the tap sensor will be reactivated.- The volume can be adjusted

- Go to the next troubleshooting step.

Open the Sony | Headphones Connect app, and move the slide bar next to the speaker icon in the Status tab to increase or decrease the volume.

- The volume level in the app may have been too high or too low. You may need to adjust the volume through the app in some situations.
- The volume can't be adjusted
- Go to the next troubleshooting step.

Adjust the volume on the connected device.
For details, refer to the device manual or support site for the manufacturer.Note: Depending on the connected device, the volume may not sync with the headphones. If you can't get the desired volume by adjusting the headphones or device volume only, adjust the volume on both devices.- The volume can be adjusted

If the streaming app has volume settings, adjust the volume using those settings.

Initialize the headphones.
Note: All the data (music files, pre-installed data, etc.) saved to the main memory of the player will be erased. Before initializing, backup any important data.Refer to the Initializing the headphones page for instructions.

- The issue may have been caused by a temporary malfunction.
- The volume cannot be adjusted
- The headphones may be malfunctioning, and require repair.  Go to Product Repair.
