Can I connect Bluetooth headphones to an Android TV that does not support Bluetooth audio devices or the A2DP profile?

1. Connect the DIGITAL IN (optical digital audio input) port on the transmitter and the optical digital audio output port on a TV with the supplied optical digital cable.
   
2. Connect the DC IN port on the transmitter and the USB port on the TV with the supplied USB Type-C™ cable.
   
3. To pair the transmitter and your Bluetooth headphones, press and hold the (BLUETOOTH) button on the transmitter for about 5 seconds. The indicator on the transmitter starts double flashing in blue to indicate that the transmitter is in pairing mode.
   
4. You can put your headphones into pairing mode to establish a BLUETOOTH® connection with the transmitter. When a BLUETOOTH connection is established, the indicator on the transmitter stops flashing and stays lit in blue.
   

On the TV, set Digital audio out to PCM:

1. Open the Settings screen. How to access Settings
   • If the remote control has a Quick Settings button:
     1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
     2. Select Settings.
   • If the remote control doesn't have a Quick Settings button:
     1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
     2. Select Settings.
2. Select Sound, Display & Sound, or BRAVIA Settings.
3. Select Audio output.
   Note: If Audio output is not shown, skip this step.
4. Select Digital audio out, then set it to PCM.

Notes: If the Speakers settings are set to TV speakers, Digital audio out will be disabled. But PCM is already set; you don't need to do any operation.

2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
   • Select Display & Sound → Audio output → Digital audio out volume, then set it to Max.
   • Select Sound → Sound adjustments → Advanced settings → Common → Digital audio out volume, then set it to Max.
     Note: For X9300C/X9400C/X9350D series, also set the following in the Sound menu: Disable ClearAudio+, then set the Hi‑Res upscaling (DSEE HX) to Off.
