How do you turn the power on and off for the Integrated Chip (IC) recorder?

When the IC recorder is not playing or recording very little power is used. For this reason, there are no buttons to turn the power off entirely. However, while the IC recorder is stopped, you can turn off the display by sliding the HOLD or HOLD/POWER switch in the direction of the arrow.

The IC recorder will turn off within a few seconds.

To turn the IC recorder back on, slide the HOLD switch in the opposite direction of the arrow.

NOTES:

• During recording and playback, slide the HOLD switch in the direction of the arrow to lock the functions of all buttons to prevent inadvertent operations.
• If the IC recorder is not going to be used for a long period of time (more than a month, for example), remove the batteries to prevent damage from battery leakage or corrosion.
