What Is an NFC Compatible Smartphone?
A Near Field Communication (NFC®) compatible smartphone has built-in NFC. Mobile devices running Android™ operating system version 2.3.3 and higher supports it. Look for the NFC logo to make sure that your device is compatible.
- The NFC function of iOS™ devices isn't compatible with one-touch connection. (As of June, 2017).
- The NFC function isn't compatible on mobile devices with Android 3.x operating system.
- Some mobile devices with the Android 4.0 operating system may already have an app installed that has similar functions.
- Check your device manual for steps to verify the OS version and other information.
On your mobile device, download and install the NFC Easy Connect app from the Google Play™ store, or scan the two-dimensional response code below using a code reader or scanner app.
